There are two main groups of electric motors for bicycles and scooters:
- Brush engines – coal engines that usually look like a cylinder or canister, mainly used in Extreme and Tucker scooters, which are powerful and reliable. In power consumption compared to the Brushless engines.
- Brushless motors – electric motors for bicycles and scooters of this type are engines without coal. Instead of engines, each engine usually has 3 sensors, but there are no sensors, and the sensors replace the coals, thus saving tens of percent of the power consumption and reaching longer ranges for each charge.
